I’ve stolen this meme from the excellent parenting blog, Cynical Dad. This is a very funny blog about raising small children. He’s a little bit too paranoid about some things (of course my lax attitude towards germs probably get me in big trouble some day). Anyway, I swiped this fun meme from him. Check it out below the fold.

I’ve done a few cool things and many mundane things. You be the judge of my worth as a human being.

02. Swam with wild dolphins I did scuba dive with some very playful California sea lions which was probably much more fun. They like to chew on you.
03. Climbed a mountain A short list: Wheeler Peak (2nd highest point in Nevada 13,063 feet) and a few lesser peaks
04. Taken a Ferrari for a test drive I did drive a friend’s BMW Z4 once and I have a friend who owns a Lambourghini who has made some promises
05. Been inside the Great Pyramid Nancy and I rented a room at the Luxor once. Thats a huge pyramid with a bright light on top. That should count for something.
06. Held a tarantula Had one as a pet, picked up many in the desert
07. Taken a candlelit bath with someone
08. Said ‘I love you’ and meant it Daily
09. Hugged a tree
10. Bungee jumped I’d do it
11. Visited Paris The casino in Vegas

13. Stayed up all night long and saw the sun rise
14. Seen the Northern Lights High priority, I keep looking, I am waiting for the next solar maximum and checking Spaceweather.com daily. Heck, my dad saw them once from the flight line at Nellis Air Force Base outside of Las Vegas.

18. Touched an iceberg. I have stood on the rock glacier at Great Basin National park and on a very impressive outflow glacier of the Columbia Icefield known as the Athabasca glacier. And I did it in November.

22. Watched a meteor shower I’ve seen a meteor storm — the 2001 Leonids were amazing with several hundred meteors per hour observed from a high mountain pass in Colorado

33. Seen a total eclipse July 11, 1991, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Over 6 minutes of totality. It got very dark, all the stars came out, and people were screaming at the sheer awesome sight of the sun’s corona surrounding the blackest hole ever in the sky. Definitely worth traveling around the world to see another one.
