Yesterday I got walloped with some sort of nasty illness. Luckily I worked late on Wednesday so I was able to take off early at 3:00 PM on Friday. I got a haircut on the way home (I wasn’t going to get off early from work and let it go to waste) and collapsed on the couch with some pretty bad body aches and a 102° fever. I spent most of Saturday on the couch as well. I am feeling a bit better and hopefully will be close to normal on Sunday. I did clear off the DVR and watched some baseball playoffs. For some reason, the victory of the Detroit Tigers pleased me. It was probably due to my feverish condition.
