I was shocked and saddened to hear that Bronco cornerback, Darrent Williams was killed (link) early on New Years morning. This was the first thing that I heard on the news this morning and the tragic death of a 24-year old talented athlete really puts yesterday’s loss and not making the playoffs in perspective. Wiliams was a very talented athlete and a key component of Denver’s defense. Williams had four interceptions and 88 tackles this season.
