One of my first plane trips was a sightseeing tour on one of Scenic Airlines vintage Ford Tri-Motors back in the late 1970s. I’ll never forget seeing my house from the air or the big wooden steering wheel yokes in the cockpit. Unfortunately that aircraft crashed a few months after my flight and it was one of the few remaining Tri-Motors. I’m happy to see that a meticulously restored Tri-Motor is on the market.
