I did a double take when I looked at my outside thermometer this morning andit read 68 degrees. I haven’t seen it below 80 degrees for a long time.
From the National Weather Service:
Record streak of consecutive days with minimum temperatures 70 degrees or warmer at Las Vegas finally ends… The low temperature this morning at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas was 68 degrees. This ended a consecutive streak of 99 days with low temperatures of 70 degrees or warmer. The streak began on June 10th and ended September 16th. This broke the previous record of 91 days set from June 16th through September 15th 2006.
