Yesterday, I took my mother-in-law to a doctor’s appointment on my lunch break. For those of you who don’t know any better, my mother-in-law is Hot Wife’s Mom. Anyway, she had shoulder surgery on Monday, couldn’t drive, and she had a follow up appointment with her othropedic surgeon.

On the drive over, I was chatting with her about her doctor. I ask her how she liked her doctor. “Oh, she’s great. She’s really young, and I like younger doctors because they tend to be more up to date on medical science. She’s very good looking and I think she’s single. You really should meet her.”

I slowly replied: “You know I’m married, right?”

She stammered and backpedaled. “Uh, I meant for for your friends.”

Even Hot Wife thought that was hilarious.
