This site claims a car being driving on Interstate 5 got hit by a piece of space junk causing $3000 in body damage. It surprised the body shop guys when the pulled out a big hunk of metal out of the car. It’s definitely manmade and it would be very interesting to figure out from where the piece originated. There wasn’t enough information to do a quick check on Heavens-Above to see if they were in the plane of the orbit of the infamous spy satellite so I agreed with a commentator that they should submit their information to the US Air Force Space command. I also said this:
