First of all, I am not sure why a fire official is calling todays tornado in Weld County, Colordao a “freak” storm because Weld County has one of the highest frequencies of tornados across the country. Of course it is larger than most counties in the Great Plains. And this was the first tornado fatality in Colorado since 1960. Still, the video of the very wide tornado moving rapidly and the huge hailstones made me miss Colorado (just a little).
