Denver Bronco’s coach Mike Shanahan’s decision to go for the win with the two-point conversion instead of the tie at the end of the game against San Diego was either insane or genius. Probably a little bit of each. He must have been thinking that with the inadvertent whistle taking away a game winning fumble recovery by the Chargers two plays earlier had the momentum clearly in the Bronco’s favor. Also, it looked they ran the same play with five wide receivers and Eddie Royal getting free in the center of the field.

Wow. What a win. I feel a little bad about the two bad officiating calls at the ends of both halves not being reviewed but I know that those things tend to balance out over time.
