Yep, it was a bad call and the Chargers should have won the game. However, the NFL usually has amazingly good referees and game changing missed calls are very rare. The referees are human and bad calls occur and do affect the outcome of games. These calls should even out over time and generally should effect all teams evenly. However, teams that win games by large margins are less likely to be affected by bad calls.

Incidentally, the was the fifth time that a NFL team had gone for the two point conversion at the end of the game for the win. Three times it worked.
