20 years ago this month, I was divorced. I had completely forgotten that fact until I ready this post. As painful as it was at the time, my life has changed so much since then that I rarely think about it anymore. I used the experience to set a positive direction for my life, and now when I do think about her, I seem to just remember some of the good times we had.

Having that piece of paper really helps you to feel like the door is closed tight. I hope that you and your ex-wife can keep a even pace for the kids as you go about with your separate lives.
